Teresa Payne is a Senior Public Benefit Specialist with Elder Advantage. She joined our team in April of 2012. Before working at Elder Advantage, Teresa worked for the Commonwealth of Kentucky for six years, the majority of which were spent as a caseworker for the Adult Medicaid program (Long Term Care). She currently specializes in filing Medicaid applications for clients who are in need of nursing home care and she works closely with families to ensure all matters are handled from start to finish in the Medicaid process. This allows families to be confident that their loved one’s financial concerns are being addressed so that they can focus on spending time with their loved one and not on the Medicaid process (which can, most times, be overwhelming). Teresa is a native of Whitesville, KY and has always felt great satisfaction in giving back to her community. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children. We are truly blessed to have Teresa as a part of our Elder Advantage team.
